Technical and Specialist leaders face a range of challenges balancing professional expertise with leading and developing teams. Sometimes they also encounter career inertia in their organisation. I help them with these challenges and to become effective leaders. For first time leaders, this might be finding and getting the most learning opportunities out of their early leadership roles. For senior leaders, it can sometimes be a lonely place leading other managers and navigating the management-governance boundary. Then there are macro challenges in diversity and inclusion, climate change, and the transformation to circular economies.
